FIELD: X-ray devices. SUBSTANCE: when high voltage is increased after turning device on, signal from detector of radiation behind investigated object is compared to basic reference level. When signal from detector equals to said reference level, level of high voltage at X-ray transmitter is stored. Said level is used for selection of working reference level which corresponds to conditions that are relevant for diagnosis during given filming. When increasing signal from detector is equal to working value, voltage at X-ray transmitter is fixed for rest of filming. This method uses levels of high voltage and electricity quantity and does not involve operator's activity. EFFECT: automatic setting of conditions that are relevant for diagnosis during filming. 3 cl, 3 dwg, 1 tbl
