FIELD: X-ray appartuses with adjusting autotransformer and digital facilities for setting high voltage and heater current. SUBSTANCE: apparatus uses calculating unit for analytical approximation of dependence Ia= F(K1, K2, K3, Ih, Ua), where Ia is anode current of X-ray tube; Ih is heater current; Ua is high voltage; K1, K2, K3 arefactors incorporated in approximation dependence constant for each particular tube throughout entire range of Ia, Ua, Ih and determined during apparatus calibration. EFFECT: provision for automatic setting of desired values of Ua and Ia due to using analytical approximation dependence for entire range of associated changes of Ia, Ua, Ih by setting autotransformer ratio and heater current dispensing with considerable calculating resources. 2 dwg
