FIELD: X-ray devices. SUBSTANCE: device provides automatic mode of setting required level of high voltage. This is provided when voltage at emitter is increased after device is turned on. Signal that corresponds to intensity of radiation behind object is compared to reference value. Level of voltage is fixed when said values are equal. Reference value depends on voltage level when signal from detector is equal to reference base value which is set according to maximum permissible power of X-ray emitter.
