To load the gun, first it is necessary to inject water into the pneumatic accumulator, then the barrel is filled with water, and the harpoon is inserted, which forces out water into the space between the barrel and diaphragm building up action positive pressure. When the harpoon is pushed up to the stop, its tail piece 18 gets caught by lock 14. Prior to firing a shot safety lock 8 is squeezed out forward; as a result, stop 24 goes down and releases trigger 7. To fire a shot, it is necessary to push trigger 7. Rod 10 moves backwards, lock 14 gets squeezed out upwards by spring 17 and releases the harpoon tail piece. At the same time rod 10 turns catch 15.
