SUBSTANCE: method involves invoking abrupt change of specimen temperature by means of uniaxial deformation within the range of elasticity, the specimen being placed into the medium under test. The surface temperature change in time is measured the rate of heating/cooling is determined in regular heating mode and the heat exchange coefficient value is calculated from a formula.
