PROCESS OF INSULATION OF TOROIDAL MAGNETIC CORE AND MACHINE FOR ITS REALIZATION Russian patent published in 1995 - IPC

FIELD: electrical engineering. SUBSTANCE: process consists in wrapping of insulating tape around magnetic core. Lead of tape is fixed so that it covers part of base of magnetic core determined by value of factor of insulation overlapping over inner surface of magnetic core. Laying of tape over perimeter and wrapping of magnetic core are carried out simultaneously. Machine for realization of process of insulation of toroidal magnetic cores has spool 1 which formed ring magazine 3 for insulation tape 6 with the aid of rollers. Spool rotating in driving rollers 4 has groove to put on magnetic core 5. Stock of tape 6 can be reeled from ring magazine to bobbin 7. Mechanism 8 is used to fix lead of cut tape in ring magazine 3. Spring-loaded roller 9 is meant for fixation of completion of process of reeling of tape on to bobbin. Magnetic core 5 is enclosed in rollers 10 to perform its turn while insulation is applied. Insulation layer is put under one of rollers 10. Edges of rollers 10 can be bent towards bases of magnetic core by means of additional rollers.
