FIELD: dehydration of gases; applicable in gas and oil industries. SUBSTANCE: method includes supply of absorbent to absorbent of discrete apparatus; mixing of absorbent with dehydrogenated gas and dehydration in multifunctional apparatus. In so doing, absorbent saturated with moisture is continuously withdrawn for regeneration and recirculation of regenerated and purified from mechanical impurities absorbent to absorber. Carried out absorber is surface-turbulent mixing of absorbent and gas with simultaneous cooling and separation of steam and drops of water and absorbent from gas in cylindrical spiral pipe with multiple-thread screw corrugations with L/S ≥ 2, N ≥ 3 and D/d ≤ 3, and velocity of gas running against corrugation of 30-400 m/s, and continuous withdrawal of solution of wet absorbent from internal surfaces of corrugations to regenerator and its recirculation to absorber, where L is length of pipes; S is lead of helix of screw corrugation; N is number of corrugations in pipe cross-section; D is maximum outer diameter of cylindrical profile of spiral pipe; and d is minimum inner diameter of cylindrical profile of spiral pipe.
