FIELD: production of crimped threads. SUBSTANCE: device has guiding member with a through channel having outlet opening. Needle member has a through channel for thread to pass, the channel is coaxial with channel in the guiding member. The needle member point enters the conic inlet portion of the channel in the guiding member and makes a through slit for compressed air supplied into the ring-shaped space in front of the through slit through two feeding channels. Reflecting member is mounted in the zone of outlet opening. Thread coming out of the opening is deflected by the reflecting member from the central plane passing through guiding member channel axis and center of gravity of the flat cross-section of the feeding channel orifice.
