FIELD: engine engineering. SUBSTANCE: signal to start the gas-turbine engine is fed from control unit 13 at the moment of starting internal combustion engine. Water begins to be heated in heat exchanger 10 by way of exhaust gases of the turbine simultaneously with starting the gas-turbine engine. As soon as water reaches a given temperature, internal combustion engine is set to operate at low speed of rotation. The gas-turbine engine is disconnected in response to a signal from control unit 13, EFFECT: enhanced reliability. 1 dwg
