FIELD: measurement of vibration parameters. SUBSTANCE: geophone has case, base installed in case, two ferromagnetic cylinders, two permanent magnets of inertial mass, clamp of rigid coupling of magnets, tie-rod used as lateral centering mount of inertial mass, two barrels of diamagnetic conductive material to control damping factor of inertial mass. Forces of magnetic attraction act between magnets and corresponding cylinders. This provides for effect of lateral magnetic stretching of magnetic suspension of inertial mass. Control over inherent frequency of vibrations of geophone is carried out by change of distance between ferromagnetic cylinders. EFFECT: enhanced operational efficiency and reliability. 1 dwg
