FIELD: technical means for automatization, namely of heating furnaces operation, of extrudes and casting machines, reactors and other objects with use for controlling of one technological parameter a series of control stimuli. SUBSTANCE: position controller includes two inverters 4,5 and two setters 6,7 for setting a dead zone, whose outputs are connected with first and second inputs of the double-threshold comparator 8 and whose third input being an input of the parameter to be controlled. First and third outputs of the double- threshold comparator 8 through the first and the second inverters 4,5 are connected respectively with an adding and subtracting output of the binary counter 9, whose timing input and resetting input are connected with the resetting unit 11 and with the delay unit 12. The controller also includes a multiplexer 1, the timer-generator 10, AND-gates 2 and OR-gate 3. A first input of the OR-gate 3 is connected with an output of the AND-gate 2, its second input with the output of the second inverter 5; a first input of the AND-gate 2 is connected with an output of the multiplexer 1 and its second input with the second output of the double-threshold comparator 8. Inputs of the multiplexer, being switched, are connected with output channels of the timer-generator 10, its controlling input with the outputs of the reversing counter 9.
