FIELD: automatic control equipment. SUBSTANCE: when controlled parameter leaves first adaptation region, method involves assigning mean value between newly assigned and previous values of control action to actual control action. Thus, regulator matches object load faster. This leads to decreased adaptation time. When object load changes, regulator retains possibility to return positions to their extreme values (when parameter leaves repeated adaptation region). When parameter leaves adaptation region once again, regulator can tune positions to new load value. EFFECT: improved regulation quality. 2 dwg
