FIELD: catalyst production. SUBSTANCE: catalyst is produced by means of mixing metal iron, ammonium molybdate and chromium oxide in vinegar acid in amounts providing atomic ratios Fe/Cr+Fe 0.5-0.95 and Mo/Cr+Fe 2.5-3.0 when heated up to 60-90 C and stirred. Resulting paste is exposed to temperature of 500-550 C. Resulting catalyst has following composition: Fe1-xCrx/Mo= 1/2.5-3.5, where x=0.05-0.5. EFFECT: lower cost. 1 tbl
