FIELD: mechanical engineering; metal working. SUBSTANCE: device has casing made in the form of elastic fork 1 with hole 2 at the base of slit 3 and hole 4 being in normal relation to jaws 5, clamping unit having casing 6 with fastening screw 7 and installation socket 8 with base surfaces a and b. Casing 6 of the clamping unit with cylindric stem 10 is mounted in hole 2 on movable fit. The device is provided with flanges 11 with axles 12 on internal end faces and with projections 13 on the external end faces of the casing with base platforms 14 spaced in parallel to axles 12. Divisions are drawn over the lateral surface of casing 6, over the end face surface of jaws 5 and over the peripheral part of the elastic fork adjacent to casing 6 and flange 11, the zero divisions corresponding to the parallel disposition of bearing surface a of the socket 8 and base platforms 14 of projections 13 in the initial position. Flanges 11 have windows 17 made against divisions on jaws 5. In socket 8 of casing 6 workpiece 18 (here it is cutter holder) is set, which has surfaces G, D, E, Zh positioned at different angles to the rest surface of the cutter holder. To do it, vise is rotated in horizontal plane and the casing with stem 10 together with elastic fork 1 and workpiece 18 are rotated around axles 12 so that the generatrix of, for example, surface D of fixed workpiece 18 is to be set in parallel to the milling machine desk advance. To mill surfaces E, Zh, the mode of operation is the same as that in case of tuning the milling process of surface D making rotations of the vise and casing 6 of the clamping unit with stem 10 in hole 2 taking into consideration the position of divisions 15 relative to the zero value on elastic fork 1 and rotating elastic fork 1 on axles 12 taking into consideration the position of other divisions relative to zero value of flange 11. When adjusting workpiece 18 for treating other surfaces, there is no need in readjustment (unfastening and following fixing parts).
