FIELD: organic chemistry, azodyes. SUBSTANCE: azodyes on the basis of 4- and 6-nitro-2-aminophenols were synthesized by diazotization and azo-coupling. For diazotization 4-nitro- and 6-nitro-2-aminophenols were used prepared by nitration of 2-aminophenol. Diazotization is carried out either directly in solution after nitration without nitroaminophenols isolation or after their isolation. Method ensures to obtain large assortment of azodyes on the basis of single diazo-component a mixture of 4- and 6-nitro-2-aminophenols which is prepared without sulfide use.
