FIELD: nonferrous metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: furnace has shell mounted on floor and formed by fire brick masonry. Arched dome is supported by shell. Accumulating bath is laid in the interior of furnace on heat-accumulating pad made from dense fire bricks. Pad is made double-layer: lower layer is made from light-weight fire bricks and upper layer is made from charge of fire brick material including metal members. Heat conductivity of lower layer does not exceed 0.4 W/(m.K) and heat conductivity ratio of accumulating bath bottom and pad upper layer is (0.8-0.6):(0.6-0.4). Space between accumulating bath and furnace shell below inclined platform is filled with dense fire- resistant material with heat conductivity not exceeding 0.75 W/(m.K) and remaining space between accumulating bath and shell is filled with fire- resistant material charge having heat conductivity not exceeding 0.4 W/(m. K). Furnace shell incorporates precombustion chamber, gas duct with regulating gate and channels for positioning tuyeres. Tap hole is made in furnace bottom.
