FIELD: nonferrous metallurgy, particularly, melting units for smelting of secondary aluminum. SUBSTANCE: reverberatory furnace has body of red clay brick, accumulating bath confined by bottom and walls, loading inclined platform, loading window in body front wall, arch located above inclined platform and resting on refractory walls of platform, arch located above accumulating bath and resting on bath refractory end walls, prechamber in body end wall above accumulating bath for removal of slag, channel accommodating jet nozzle and made in body, and directed to loading platform and taphole located in bottom. Arch of accumulating bath is made with variable radius increasing towards prechamber. Located between body, bottom and walls of accumulating bath is pad of diatom and filler of heat-insulating crumb is accommodated above arches. EFFECT: improved ecology, reduced ejections and metal losses, prolonged service life of furnace. 2 cl, 3 dwg
