FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a reverberatory furnace for aluminium scrap remelting. The furnace contains casing made by side, face and rear walls, accumulating bath limited by hearth and walls, dome, drain tap hole, gas channel and welded pedestal, on which all is installed, external heat insulation out of three layers of heat insulating materials: diatomaceous crumb, refractory absorbent cotton, double layer of asbestos board. Inclined site, accumulating bath are made out of hearth blocks KC-88 laid on three layers of asbestos board, and pad out of dry quartz sand. The furnace pedestal is poured with concrete with additions of diatomaceous crumb, in top part the two layers of light chamotte bricks are arranged. The dome above the inclined site and furnace bath has heat insulating lining by two layers. In the furnace eight injection eight-mixing burners with nozzles for accelerated melting mode, device s for gate of work and sludge furnace window lifting and lowering are installed. The furnace is provided with 2-stage system of dust-gas cleaning comprising mixing chamber, two fume exhausts, gas cleaning block, scrubber.
EFFECT: higher furnace capacity, reduced heat and burn-off losses and possibility of ecologically clean remelting of aluminium scrap.
