FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a reverberatory furnace for aluminium scrap remelting. Furnace includes a housing formed with refractory external side, front and rear end walls, a storage bath and inclined platform restricted with hearth and walls, roof, two drain tap holes, two rotating bowls, a gas duct and welded frame whereon everything is arranged. Welded frame is filled with concrete with filler: crumbs of light chamotte bricks, at bottom of frame is lined with four rows of chamotte light brick grade SHL-0.4, storage bath and inclined platform are made from corundum of medium density units KS-95, laid on two heat-insulating mullite fibreglass layer of MLF-260 and filling of quartz sand. Crown above inclined platform and bath has heat-insulation plaster above coating dual heat-insulating mullite fibreglass layer of MLF-260. In furnace flue there is a device for heating air with flue gases removed from furnace, in side walls of furnace there are two working windows equipped with electric drives for raising and lowering operating gates of furnace, in one side wall there are two slag windows. Furthermore, furnace has: in front end wall two rows of injection twelve mixing burners of medium pressure, lower row of burners with smooth inner surface of mixers is directed towards inclined platform, and upper row of burners is directed towards bottom, mixers have ribs at ends inside central channel. Furnace has two tap holes in side wall for discharge of molten metal made in fast-replace notch bricks. Heat power burners is 7980 kW. Furnace is equipped with 2-step dust-gas cleaning system.
EFFECT: higher furnace efficiency, reduced heat losses and ensuring ecologically clean process.
