FOLDED DOME Russian patent published in 1995 - IPC

FIELD: civil engineering. SUBSTANCE: folded dome includes rhomboid members folded along the large diagonal. The members are butted to one another with ends and connected to one another. Large diagonal of the members is oriented horizontally. Preferentially the members are made of claydite-concrete with corners cut perpendicular to large diagonal. The members has a slot, and projection on the ends along perimeter to be joint to adjacent members. The members are joint to one another using cement slurry, and are provided with a rib of variable height decreasing from member center to ends. The rib is located on smaller diagonal of the member.
