FIELD: laying materials technology obtained of polymer semi-product and used as middle layer in multi-layer structures for insulating from thermal, sound or mechanical effects. SUBSTANCE: method is performed by laying strips 1 into pocket, and connecting them in pairs along lengthwise edges using additional lengthwise strips 2 laid on the side of strip 1 to arrange joint points 3 in checkered order in plane of pocket cross section. L is length of additional strips equal to length of pocket strips, b is doubled δ thickness of the strips. Pocket of strips is notched crosswise in checkered order. Each notch 4 has d depth equal to the sum of t width of strip 1 of the pocket and width b of additional strip 2. Then the pocket is stretched out in to reciprocally perpendicular directions (along the length and width of strip 1) to obtain spatial shape of the laying. Then it is fixed. EFFECT: increased resistance to compression and flexibility, decreased volumetric density. 3 dwg
