FIELD: mining engineering. SUBSTANCE: device has sensitive member and recording unit. The sensitive member is made in form of hollow unsealed sphere suspended on elastic flexible cord. Recording unit is made in form of ohmmeter. Cord has the form of loop and is electric conducting rubber thread enclosed in insulating elastic flexible coating made from rubber or latex. The cord is attached to the sphere without making contact of cord end with the sphere at one end and to a fixed beam with its another end. Free ends of the cord threads are connected to the ohmmeter inputs. Ventilation rate is evaluated from the cord elongation. EFFECT: convenient method for measuring ventilation rate. 2 dwg
