FIELD: mining equipment. SUBSTANCE: apparatus for controlling a thickness of foam layer and a level of pulp in a chamber of flotation machine, having a float, suspended on a flexible filament, and indicators of the pulp level and the foam layer thickness, also has second float, suspended on a flexible filament. The flexible filaments are in the form of elastic laces with a core in the form of loop of current-conductive rubber, placed into insulation elastic envelope, for example of rubber or latex. The filament elasticity modules and density of the floats have such values, that the first float is arranged in an interface of the foam and the pulp and the second float is arranged in an interface of the foam and the air. The pulp level indicator is in the form of ohmmeter; the indicator of the foam layer thickness also being an ohmmeter and difference meter. The loops of the current-conductive rubber are connected with inputs of the ohmmeters, whose outputs are connected with inputs of the difference meter.
