FIELD: oil industry; transportation of crude oil and oil - gas liquid mixtures containing sand and other hard impurities. SUBSTANCE: fitted in pipeline is variable-section hollow housing with tandem-mounted converging tube, cylindrical section and separation-free diffuser. Installed coaxially in housing is flow divider with rigidly secured guide vanes. Divider is made in form of body of revolution with curved face portion, cylindrical middle portion and convex conical tail portion. Vanes are installed to form hydrodynamic converging tube grid on cylindrical portion of divider. Ratio of cross section area of free portion of housing to area of section of through part of converging tube grid is not less than 1.5-2.0. EFFECT: enlarged operating capabilities. 2 dwg
