CONVEYER-TYPE MACHINE FOR ROASTING THE LUMPED MINERAL RAW MATERIAL Russian patent published in 1995 - IPC

FIELD: metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: conveyer-type machine has a conveyer belt with gas-conduit chambers, hoods located over them and the route for input/output of the heat carrier under them. In this machine the first and the last relative to its motion gas-conduit chambers are made as vacuum and reversible correspondingly, and are equipped with blind autonomous hoods. In this case the hoods are separated from the rest hoods of the machine by partitions having permeable holes in their lower part. The hood of the last chambers is additionally switched on to the route of recirculating the heat carrier equipped with the cut-off bolt and the exhaust fan. The machine can work in two modes. According to the first mode the lumped raw materials are produced in the form of sintered mass. The whole machine works for suctioning from above downwards. The mixture of the lump ore and coal is charged onto the conveyer belt and is subjected to the preliminary heating, igniting and sintering in succession. According to the second mode the lumped raw materials are produced in the form of separate granules. The machine works in the reversible mode, first during the suctioning of the heat carrier from above downwards, then from below upwards. The raw granules are charged into the conveyer-type machine and are subjected to drying, heating up and basic roasting during the fuel consumption over the layer and the cooling, with all this being carried out in succession. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of the raw material preparation in the metallurgy and of obtaining the lumped material either in the shape of separate granules or in the form of sintered mass. 1 dwg
