FIELD: radio broadcasting. SUBSTANCE: method involves analysis of shape of present spectra of signals of left and right channels, their coding and transmission together with summary signal of left and right channels. At receiving side summary signal of left and right channels is fed to filters with controlled frequency characteristic which is controlled with the aid of signals formed during analysis of shape of present spectra. EFFECT: reduced band of frequencies necessary for broadcasting of stereo signal. 2 dwg
