FIELD: agricultural engineering. SUBSTANCE: plant for drying moist standing grain crop prior to direct combine harvesting has a cylindrical body, a tray for feeding straw into the plant hopper, a feeder for delivery of straw to the plant burner, and branch pipes for delivery of air into the plant burner. In the burner there is a horizontal plate with upward convex arch-shaped slits with tangentially directed axes. In the burner there are also a central tube, a deflecting disk mounted above the plate for feed of straw, deflecting cones and a helical band over the plate at the wall of the body with the aforesaid arch-shaped slits for deflection of ashes and straw, a lower branch pipe for ashes in the cover, and an upper branch pipe tangentially attached to the body for tapping hot smoke gases into the plant cyclone.
