GAS SCRUBBING FILTER Russian patent published in 1995 - IPC

FIELD: filtering devices for gases and vapors. SUBSTANCE: filter has square-shaped vertical knee-formed filtration chamber. Flow of balls flies though the chamber from bunker across rotatory regulating device and acceleration channel, which has height-adjusted wall at output of the chamber. Ball stream generates gas-permeable shutter across the total section. The shutter crosses speed gas stream, which blows from down to up, as a result, cleaning is performed. There are peepholes with illumination on side walls of the chamber for observing the stream. Ball stream together with dust enters bath along the curved funnel, and it returns to bunker by means of conveyer after being released from slam. Energy of falling of ball stream in the funnel is used for cleaning balls from slam due to ejection and formation of jets through nozzles. EFFECT: improved quality of cleaning. 4 cl, 3 dwg
