GAS CLEANING UNIT OF CLEANING ELECTROLYSIS GASES WITH GAS-WASHING MODULE CONTAINING A SLEEVE FILTER AND REACTOR Russian patent published in 2018 - IPC B01D53/02 B01D46/02 B01J8/00

Abstract RU 2668926 C2

FIELD: metallurgy.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions refers to non-ferrous metallurgy and is designed to purify the gases of electrolysis production of aluminum from hydrogen fluoride and other impurities. Gas cleaning unit for cleaning electrolysis gases from the casings of aluminum, including purifying gas from aluminum hydrogen fluoride in which gas purification is carried out by dry adsorption so as to return the adsorption material back to production by means of at least one gas cleaning module, containing at least one reactor in the form of a Venturi tube with a structure that ensures equalization of the gas flow in the high-speed modes, and at least one baghouse filter made in the form of a self-supporting structure, wherein the inlet of the reactor is located opposite the outlet of the respective filter. Gas cleaning module for cleaning the electrolysis gases contains at least one reactor and at least one bag filter connected to each other by a transition pipe. Reactor is in the form of a Venturi tube with a structure, providing an equalization of the gas flow in the high-speed modes, contains an inlet bell located in the lower part of the reactor, a tapering neck, located directly above the inlet funnel of the reactor, and at least one point for supplying the adsorbent to the reactor located above the convergent neck of the reactor. Reactor also comprises a transition tube made in the form of a truncated cone, connected to the inlet branch pipe of a bag filter, which contains dirty and clean gas chambers, filter hoses and a hopper, in the lower part of which there is a nozzle for removing the adsorbent. Filter sleeve, made in the form of a self-supporting structure, contains an inlet branch connected to the inlet part, which includes a gas guide wall, fairing, a gas distribution device, a filtering part comprising a housing, adjacent to the bottom of the bunker with an airway and a dust discharge nozzle, and to the top – a clean gas chamber that contains a hose plate with holes for installing filter elements in rows, is located below the pipes with nozzles for blowing the hoses with compressed air, connected to the two receivers, which are located on the outside of the clean gas chamber and each of which is equipped with pulsed solenoid valves. In this case, easy-detachable lids are placed in the top wall of the clean gas chamber, and the clean gas chamber has an outlet for the outlet of clean gas. Gas cleaning reactor for cleaning electrolysis gases is made in the form of a low-pressure Venturi tube, consisting of an inlet bell located in the lower part of the reactor, a tapered neck, located directly above the inlet funnel of the reactor, and at least one heat source for supplying the adsorbent to the reactor located above the convergent neck of the reactor. Ratio of the diameter of the reactor neck to its height is in the limit 1/8÷1/13, and an increase in the overall dimensions of the reactor is directly proportional to the increase in the volumes of gases to be purified, wherein the reactor comprises a transition tube made in the form of a truncated cone in the upper part of the reactor for connection to the dust collecting apparatus.

EFFECT: technical result of the claimed group of inventions is to increase the efficiency of purifying the gases of aluminum electrolysis from fluoride compounds and other impurities with the possibility of returning adsorption material to production.
