FIELD: metal rolling. SUBSTANCE: roll mill stand inertial mass is compensated by counterweights positioned on crank mechanism, which is coupled with roll mill stand. Crank mechanism has three shafts positioned in parallel one with the other with uniform space between them. Main counterweight is positioned on middle shaft to compensate half the roll mill stand inertial energy and two other identical counterweights are positioned on two parallel shafts to compensate second half of roll mill stand inertial energy. EFFECT: increased efficiency and enhanced reliability in operation. 5 cl, 9 dwg
