FIELD: materials handling; pumping of viscous-flow materials along pipelines. SUBSTANCE: main pipeline for transportation of high-viscosity material has non-butt joined sections, bypass pipe symmetrically driven into non-butt joined sections and furnished with chambers hermetically connecting bypass pipeline with sections of main pipeline, transfer pumps connected with chambers by means of bypass pipeline which has horizontal section. Main pipeline has pressure drop measurement section located on horizontal section of bypass pipeline. Pressure drop measurement section has pressure drop transmitter, control device coupled with pressure drop transmitter, meter coupled with control device and with horizontal section of bypass pipeline, reservoir for surface-active substance coupled with meter, and homogenizer communicating with bypass pipeline.
