SEPARATOR FOR SUCCESSIVE PUMPING OF MEDIA THROUGH PIPE LINE Russian patent published in 1998 - IPC

FIELD: devices separating heterogeneous liquids or liquids and gases at successive pumping of them through one pipe line; gas, oil and chemical industries. SUBSTANCE: device includes elastic body filled with medium and cylindrical housing divided into two chambers by means of spring-loaded pistons; one chamber is brought in communication with medium contained in pipe line before separator. Device is provided with mechanism for control of pressure of medium in cavity of elastic body which is fitted with cam gear, medium discharge valve and control valve fitted inside cylindrical housing cam gear is connected with spring-loaded piston. On one side, valves are connected with cam gear through pipes and on other side, discharge valve is brought in communication with medium contained after separator by means of pipe; control valve is brought in communication with used for handling the medium. Besides that, cam gear is provided with idle stroke valve which is brought in communication with pipe connecting the control valve with pump on one side and with medium contained after separator on other side.
