FIELD: water treatment. SUBSTANCE: inner surface of reservoir for snow disposal has walls, platform located over edges of reservoir, and device for removal of surface ice layer. Moisture remaining after removal of ice from reservoir surface is evaporated under the effect of solar energy. Solid mixture remaining on reservoir bottom after evaporation of moisture is removed, screened and used for strewing city streets instead of mixture of sand and salt.
