FIELD: hydraulic engineering; protection of sea coast against destructive action of waves. SUBSTANCE: block-section 9 of coast protection works comprises two pairs of blocks 1 and 2 with slot-like holes and two pairs of vertical cutouts positioned on block ends at equal distances from its edges. Depth of each cutout is not less than half the block height and its width is not less than its thickness. For assembling a block-section, two blocks 1 and 2 have cutouts on one end while the other pair of blocks 1 and 2 has cutouts on diagonally-opposite block ends. EFFECT: improved design. 8 dwg
