FIELD: cold rolling equipment. SUBSTANCE: roll pass design includes a row of alternating oval and round rolling grooves passes of double-roll stands, forefinal and final rolling grooves passes. The forefinal grooved pass has a profile of a bottom of a groove of one roll, formed by a radius, equal to (1.5-1.6) of a radius of respective portion of grooves of the final rolling grooved pass, and a profile of a groove of a second roll, formed by a radius, equal to (1.1-1.4) of a radius of respective portion of grooves of the final rolling grooved pass. Lateral walls of the groove, being adjacent with a connection plane, are inclined relative to the connection plane by an angle, equal to (1-1.1) of an inclination angle of a portion of the groove of the final rolling grooved pass. Forming a flange of a working part of a contact wire. A width of the bottom of the groove of one roll consists (0.6-0.7) of a width of roll grooves; its height consists (0.95-0.98) of the width of the final rolling grooved pass.
