FIELD: cold rolling of contact profiled shapes, possibly of high-strength wear-resistant copper alloys used in railway roads and city transport.

SUBSTANCE: system includes preparatory, rough, pre-final and final roll grooved passes. System includes in addition first and second preliminary roll grooved passes. Contours and relations of specified dimensions of rolls with grooved passes are normalized. Invention allows to improve strength of tool due to more uniform distribution of efforts acting upon rolls, to enhance accuracy and stability of dimensions of contact wire having enhanced mechanical properties.

EFFECT: improved quality and increased useful life period of tool, enhanced technical and operational parameters of shaped contact wire.
