FIELD: manufacture of rolled product. SUBSTANCE: system of passes has alternating oval pass, round passes and forming passes - roughing, leader and finishing passes defined by grooves of two rolls. Profiles of leader pass grooves are made in accordance with profiles of finishing pass grooves, and profiles of roughing pass grooves are made in accordance with profile of leader pass groove. System of passes is designed for manufacture of contact wires by cold rolling method on continuous stands with mutually perpendicular rolls. EFFECT: increased precision of dimensions and shape of wires by using three forming passes. 3 dwg
