FIELD: metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: universal stand has a mounting frame with a cross piece and a mounting spring, arranged between struts of a housing and chocks of upper horizontal and vertical rolls. In lower part of walls the frame has inner protrusions, forming a guide for mounting the chocks of vertical rolls. A lower part of the chocks of the vertical rolls is provided by grooves for fastening cradles, embracing each chock of the lower horizontal roll. Rails of the struts of the housing in a zone of arrangement of the protrusions of walls of the frame are also provided by inner extensions, whose upper horizontal surface forms a guide for the mounting frame.
