FIELD: casting of metals. SUBSTANCE: within this method pig iron is poured into rotating mould, crystallized and removed from the mould. The pipe edges have additional finish both on the inner and outer surfaces of the pipe. Width of finish from the pipe end is not less than 3t, depth from inside is not less than 0,1t, depth from outside is not less than 0,02t, where t is wall thickness of finished edge. Edges are finished on hot pipe at the temperature of 800-900 C after the pipe is removed from the mould and before its thermal treatment. EFFECT: improved quality. 5 cl, 2 dwg
