FIELD: heat treatment of welded joints; may be used in manufacture of shaped articles from tubular blanks of spherulitic iron. SUBSTANCE: welded joint after welding and cooling is heated to fixed temperature within 850-1000 C, and held at the fixed temperature during the time determined from the condition specified in the invention description. Then joint is cooled from the heating temperature to 600-650 C at the rate of not higher Vmax = 10 x 20,02(Tн-850) 2 C/min. Further cooling is carried out in the air. EFFECT: ductility and service stability of articles welded joints made from spherulitic iron.
