FIELD: metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: process of chrome boride smelting in ore-thermic electric furnace is carried out using the charge in which the ratio of diboron trioxide to chrome sesquioxide is 0.46-0.8, and the ratio of carbon to the total content of boron and chrome oxides is 0.41-0.55.
