Abstract RU 2049005 C1

FIELD: railway transport. SUBSTANCE: brake valve has hand pneumatic control member 1, remote control electropneumatic control member 2 and operating member 3. Member 1 has body 4, movable partition 5 with hollow rod 11, two-seat valve 6 and handle 10. Space 9 of member 1 constantly communicates with supply main line 13 through inlet 12. Space 7 of member 1 constantly communicates with atmosphere. Member 2 has electropneumatic brake valve 15 electropneumatic release valve 16. Inlet 17 of release valve 16 communicates with supply main line 13. Outlet 18 of valve 16 commmunicates with inlet 20 of braking valve 15 through channel 19. Outlet 21 of braking valve 15 communicates with space 8 of pneumatic control member 1. Operating member 3 has pressure relay 23 and equalizing reservoir 28. Control space 27 of pressure relay 23 communicates with channel 19. For electric remote control pneumatic control member 1 is set handle 10 in full bracking position. Outlet 21 of braking valve 15 communicates with atmosphere through member 1. In release and brake charging position, valves 15 and 16 are energized. In train position, release valve 16 is de-energized. When braking, both valves 15 and 16 are de- energized. Control space 27 of pressure relay 23 communicates with atmosphere through braking valve 15 and pneumatic control member 1. If electric remote control fails, valves 15 and 16 get de-energized. To change over to standby hand pneumatic control, member 1 should be shifted by handle 10 in brake release position. Control space 27 and equalizing reservoir 28 are disconnected from atmosphere by two-seat valve 6 and get connected with supply main line 13. Pressure relay 23 operates to release brake. EFFECT: simplified design of brake valve, possibility of releasing the brake in case of failure of electric remote control when vehicle is to continue its motion. 1 dwg
