FIELD: ultrasonic inspection. SUBSTANCE: elastic standing waves are excited in heterophasal chemical system under inspection, then acoustic spectrum of inspected system is recorded by frequency scanning with aid of acoustic spectrometer; after that, new acoustic spectrum of inspected system is recorded in the course of physicochemical process modifying surface state, new high-quality acoustic modes of system are compared with new macrostructures of surface. For detecting system modes complying with new surface inclusions (phase/reagent islands), system acoustic spectra are compared at different temperatures discriminating surface-origin modes by frequency offset as function of temperature. EFFECT: enlarged functional capabilities. 4 dwg
