FIELD: chemistry, physics. SUBSTANCE: family of inventions is related to process of atomic absorption analysis of liquid samples and atomic absorption spectrometer for its realization. In accordance with process aliquot of sample containing determined element is heated to atomization temperature of this element in tubular resistance furnace with the use of electric current. Flux of resonance radiation is passed through obtained monatomic vapor. Monatomic vapor is subjected to action of variable magnetic field directed in parallel to flux of resonance radiation. Difference of values of absorbance under zero and extreme magnitudes of magnetic induction is recorded and concentration of element in sample is found by difference of these values. Heating of sample is conducted under condition that direction of electric current in tubular resistance furnace is parallel to central line of magnetic induction of magnetic field. EFFECT: enhanced authenticity of process and spectrometer. 4 cl, 3 dwg
