FIELD: production of aerosol or gel. SUBSTANCE: medium to be sprayed is acted on by ultrasonic oscillations generated in oscillation source which includes piezoelectric element; regulation of aerosol drop sizes is effected through change of parameters of oscillations. Liquid and/or loose medium is acted on in mode of standing waves; frequency of oscillations is changed within range close to resonance frequency of macrostructure of liquid and/or loose medium being sprayed and/or it is maintained at level equal to resonance frequency of macrostructure of liquid and/or loose medium being sprayed, thus obtaining finely-dispersed aerosol at size of drops not exceeding 0.5 followed by regeneration of macrostructure of medium being sprayer. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency; possibility of obtaining aerosols with different properties as compared with those obtained by means of standard units. 1 dwg
