FIELD: agricultural engineering. SUBSTANCE: heater of the incubator is a piece of wire pulled up by a spring. The point of attachment of the wire and spring is in kinematic link with the incubator trays. A commanding unit for turning eggs is connected to the current controller of the heater. Turning on for a period of 10 s by energizing the heater with current with amplitude exceeding the controller current amplitude by an order of magnitude provides for temperature-dependent elongation of the heater. The change in length is transformed by a crank- lever mechanism into turning of the trays through an angle greater or smaller than 45 deg. The system is automated to operate according to a program coming from the commanding unit. EFFECT: higher reliability; convenience in operation. 3 cl, 8 dwg
