FIELD: measuring equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the measurement equipment, in particular to the gyro motor (GM) with ball bearings (b/b) in the rotor supports testing methods and devices, and can be used in the gyroscopic instruments manufacturing. Method consists in the fact that, fixing the GM stator in the checking device, producing the number of rotor revolutions in one direction, not less than the smallest integer, multiple of the ratio of the rotor rotation angle to the separator rotation angle in the GM ball bearings, recorded the rotor rim radial displacements values, resulting from each rotor rotation, and the of the separator system assembly in the GM ball bearings quality is judged by the values magnitude. Method implementation device includes housing, which is designed with possibility of the GM stator attach, the GM rotor fixing means and the non-contact capacitive sensor, which plates are the GM rotor rim and the plate, mounted on the housing with a gap to the rotor rim, electrically connected to the capacitance meter input terminals.

EFFECT: elimination of the need for the GM life expenditure and the reduction of time spent on the inspection performance.
