FIELD: sewage treatment. SUBSTANCE: sewage enters a settling chute where coarse fractions precipitate in the chamber of a two-layer settler then enter the biofilter chambers. Said chambers contain biodiscs. Rejected film of biomass falls on the chamber bottom through outlet openings. EFFECT: a combination of the two-layer settler with disc biofilters in one structure reduces the capital cost of the structure. 3 dwg
