FIELD: biological purification of sewage. SUBSTANCE: device for biological purification of sewage has body separated by vertical partitions into chamber of primary settling, anaerobic and aerobic reactors with biofilters and aerators, and system of pipes for supply of compressed air to aerobic reactors and pipelines supplying sewage and discharging purified water. Device has chamber for head suppression, airlift pockets and system supplying air and returning sludge water, contact reservoir with tubular mixer and pipeline supplying chlorine water, channel for return of sludge water to chamber of primary settling, and secondary settling chamber with receiving channel. Chambers of anaerobic and successive steps of aerobic reactors are installed in direction of flow of sewage with increased longitudinal sizes of chambers of first-stage aerobic reactor relative to anaerobic reactor and successive stages of aerobic reactors relative to preceding ones by arithmetic progression. Biofilters of anaerobic and aerobic reactors are made in form of containers installed on frames in reactors and filled with placed on one another and nearby one another blocks of bulk charging, or plates installed in vertical plane with gaps between each other of flat charging of material redoxide with highly developed porous structure.
