FIELD: coating application. SUBSTANCE: antistatic composition has a solution of partially hydrolyzed alkylsilicate (ethylsilicate) 1-20 wt.-% and insulating solution the rest which were mixed and subjected for hydrolysis and polycondensation. Insulating solution has 0.03-7% water-soluble inorganic compounds of composition mass which is prepared by alloying the first compound. The latter is taken of the group consisting of zirconium oxynitrate hydrate, zirconium oxychloride hydrate, lithium nitrate, lithium acetate, tin chloride hydrate, indium nitrate hydrate and indium chloride hydrate. The second compound containing metallic element which is distinct of the first compound elements is taken of the group consisting of tin, antimony and indium compounds (tin chloride hydrate and antimony chloride). Method of preparing antistatic composition involves preparing insulating solution containing inorganic compound which contains molecular water, soluble compound oxide, alloyed 0.02-6% the second compound of insulating solution mass, and organic solvent. followed by mixing insulating solution with solution of partially hydrolyzed alkylsilicate, hydrolysis and polycondensation of mixture at the room temperature under atmospheric pressure. Soluble inorganic compound is taken from the group consisting of compounds of zirconium, lithium, tin and indium; the second compound has metallic element which is distinct of the first compound and which is taken from the group consisting of compounds of tin, antimony and indium; insulating solution is prepared by mixing water and the second compound with opaque solution up to formation the second opaque solution, its stirring, water and acid mixing with the second opaque solution and heating up to formation of peptidized clear solution. Method of preparing antistatic flashless display screen involves applying on the clear screen panel of indicated antistatic composition followed by annealing at 80-500 C for 5-60 min. EFFECT: improved method of composition preparing. 8 cl, 2 tbl
